Should I pick the 5.7L HEMI or the 3.0 Hurricane for Ohio driving?
Choose by the job and the budget, then drive both. If price comes first, the two 3.0 Hurricane twin-turbo Big Horns, T7339 and T7338, carry the lowest Final Prices on this list, and T7339’s Vehicle Detail Page lists 420 hp against 395 hp on the HEMI trucks’ pages, so a six doesn’t mean giving up power. If you’ve run a HEMI before and want the V8 you know, two of the 2026s have the 5.7 HEMI with eTorque, and the 2027 Big Horn V7423 and Laramie V7421 have the 5.7 HEMI; their pages don’t list eTorque. If you tow, the engine is only half the answer: look for Trailer Brake Control and the 3.92 rear axle on the card, which the Hurricane T7339 and the HEMI T7368 both list.
